Installation / Usage Tips
Follow the included steps and hardware for a safe, secure fit:
- Do not cut the tie wrap before installation — the tie keeps the gate closed during setup.
- For pressure mounting: place the gate centered in the opening, then tighten the pressure bolts until snug against the frame.
- For a more permanent fit: screw the supplied wall cups into the door frame or staircase, then seat the gate in the cups and secure with pressure bolts.
- To open the gate: hold the handle, push toward the side, lift the handle up, then push to open. The gate will auto-close under 90°; it can also stay open at 90° when needed.
- After installation and final adjustment, cut the tie wrap and re-check all fastenings for security.
